Issues with On-premise Gateway

 Hi, 
               I am using the sql server as the data source which contain the millions of data. For this largedataset i am using the DirectQuery mode to connect the datasource and Power BI desktop. I genrated some reports and publish on the PowerBI service.

 

My onpremise gateway is showing me connected on the service but to whenever I am creating the new datasource to manage the gateway it giving me the error which is shown below in screen: 

 

 

  • Hi axata,

     

    As the error message pointed out, you can to enter the user name in this format <ComputerName>\admin. You can check the valid login name when you connect to SQL Server in SSMS:
