Issues accessing service with Explorer 11
I'm hoping someone can help. I can reach the apps.powerbi.com service using Chrome, but not Explorer 11 on my Windows 7 machine. I don't get an error, the page is just blank and the progress indicator spins. I can access other sites using Explorer 11. I have restarted the browser and cleared temp files, history and cookies, but still no luck. Other users can access the service using Explorer.
This has happened to me before. Any ideas on what may be causing the issue and what I can do, short of restarting the PC, to fix it? Many users in my organization will only have Explorer so I would like to provide some guidance if they run into this issue.
Thanks,
Brett

bjnodello If I am not wrong its app.powerbi.com and not apps :)
I haven't ran into such issues when accessing Power BI Online service. I usually prefer typing www.powerbi.com over app.powerbi.com OR powerbi.microsoft.com although every URL points the same does not make sense !

Thanks @ashishrj. The "apps" was a typo. None of the correct URLs worked in Explorer 11.

Hi bjnodello,
From this article ( Supported browsers for Power BI ), we can see Power BI is supported in IE 11 browser. And based on my test, I havn't found any any issue when accessing app.powerbi.com. In your scenario, please restart the PC then access the site again. Please run IE 11 in compatibility mode or add the site to trusted site to see if the issue persists. Also please update the IE 11 to the new version.
If you have nay question, please feel free to ask.

Thanks @Qiunyun_Yu. Restarting the PC resolved the issue, as it did in the past. I was hoping to understand the root cause or a quicker solution. Again, I can access other websites with Explorer 11 while powerbi.com is locked out, so very odd.

Hi bjnodello,
As the issue can be fixed by restarting the PC, in my opinion, the issue is more related to IE 11 or PC. I would suggest you post a new thread in IE 11 forum at this link: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/home?forum=ieitprocurrentver to check if you can get any suggestion on IE 11 side.
Also you can open a support ticket to get dedicated support from Microsoft via https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ .
