Issues Connecting to New Gateway

Hi,

I have two issues as I am trying to combine different SQL servers into one Power BI file.

First issue is why do I have the option to set up a cloud connection when it already looks like there is an identical gateway connection.  The servers look identical and I only see 2 data soucres in the data sources settings.  How do I remove the cloud connection or set it up appropriately?

Second issue is that I keep getting these errors where the data refreshes fine in Desktop but I keep getting these errors about issues with the data.  How do I fix this?

Thanks!

yes, it will resolve both.  Ignore the cloud connection as your PostGreSQL data source is on-premise.

  • You need to install the PostGreSQL drivers on all gateway cluster members, just as the error message indicates.

Thanks. Would that resolve both issues?  I am just confused how I am being forced to create cloud and gateway connections.  I  could see it failing once because there is no gateway. Thanks
