Issue with visuals changing size in service-version vs Desktop

Hi,

With the latest update a big issue for me is happening: There is a mismatch in visuals between desktop and service version.
Sizes of buttons or the fill of them changes  within the published version.

This is the desktop version:

and this is what happens after it has been published:

Up until the latest update, both desktop and service-version would show the same visuals in the same size AS PUBLISHED.
Please fix this issue!! It is annoying and makes zero sense.

  • Hi Anonymous,

I know it's a bit frustrating : The mismatch you’re seeing is caused by a recent Power BI rendering update that affects how buttons and visuals are scaled in the Service.

Turn off auto-size, disable responsive layouts, and align Desktop with the latest version — that usually restores consistent rendering.Microsoft is already working on unifying the rendering engine, so this should stabilize in upcoming monthly releases.

Hope this will be fixed soon !

  • Hi Anonymous ,

Apologies for the question but what is the visual that you are using is it a normal slicer or the button slicer? Asking this because now the button slice is on generally availability and there a re a couple of changes specially concerning the grid option please check the blog post about those definitions that may be impacting your report. Check the auto grid option.
