Dear all,
Last week, unexpectedly, all automatic updates stopped working for me. My published reports have two types of data sources: Excel files located on my PC + tables from a database server. I have both versions of the gateway installed (standard and personal).
Now, in the standard gateway, it connects perfectly to the database server but fails to connect to the files on my PC. Conversely, the personal mode gateway connects perfectly to the files on my PC but does not connect to the database server!
I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled Power BI Desktop, as well as the latest versions of the gateway several times. I’ve cleared the cache, restarted the server, etc., but the issue persists.
I suspect it’s a configuration problem with the connections, but I can’t find the solution. In both cases - whether trying one way or the other - the error message consistently states that it cannot establish the connection due to incorrect credentials.

Here is my suggestion for your reference:
Are there any updates to the credentials of the data source? If updates were made, the credentials need to be updated in the corresponding location.
