Heres the scenario that we encountered and are hoing someone can help out with the same .
We have a dashboard created on the SSAS live source , now the SSAS Tab Models have roles and permissions by Department and Branch on that Model. And same is shared via content pack to all the users . The intent is that everyone sees the same dashboard but with the prespective controlled by the Permissions on the ssas models . Now when for the user who has access to only one branch the dashbord when launched shows the numbers for the entire organisation . When we hit refresh dashboard the numbers show up appropiately . But then the user at another branch see the number that were refresh by the other branch users . Essentially when the dashboard is refresh for a particular branch the values are retained for all the user on the dashboard until its manually refreshed . Has anyone else faced this scenario ? The only work around that we could think of is to create a seprate dashboard and reports for each branch .
Thanks .

Personally I find the dashboard refresh to be a weak link in Power BI. I am sure it is difficult to code, and the refresh events must be massive in number, but at the end of the day it has to work as users expect. If it doesn't, you should log a bug, or a frown, or a suggestion as you see fit so that MS is clear of the gaps.
