Issue with on premises Gateways

Hi Guys,

Im currently trying to set up my first on premises gateway. I have downloaded the gateway from PowerBi and have completly installed it. However when i am trying to sync the gateway on the 'Data source settings' page i am revieving the following error message:

"Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to . Details: "We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster. Please find more details below about specific errors for each gateway instance."Show details

Troubleshoot connection problems"

I have searched online for a solution however this issue seems to be solved by simply refreshing your gateway, this is not the case for me.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

You may try to stop the On-Premises Data Gateaway Services and restart them.For further,please refer to below post.
