Issue with bookmark reset on Power BI service (DQ mode)

Hi,
  1. We have one of our dashboard in Direct Query mode, we are facing the filter cache issue in drill through functionality.
    Below are details :
    1. Created a drill through page which has 4 or 5 filters to analyze the specific data after applying filters.
    2. When we move to drill through page from one of the report and select some specific values from filter.
    3. Return to main report.
    4. Again from main report if I go back to drill through page, power bi retains the previous selected values of filters in which case the drill through does not show correct data.
    5.  to fix this we have created a bookmarked page, activated throught a reset button to reset all the filters in Drill through.
But when we publish the same to Service and use the reset option we are getting the error data is too much ,Please remove the string value from the data. Is anyone else facing this issue?
Any help / alter solution will be of great help. thanks.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I have test the scenario on my environment and my colleagues also tested it but it seemed work fine.

Maybe you can try:

  1. Remove the size of dataset when using directquery and try to republish to service to test again
  2. Try to publish this report to different workspace to test again
  3. Try to update the gateway to the latest version and test again

If above not help, could you please share some sample .pbix file or screenshots like error messages e.g. for further discussion?

Or you can create a support ticket to https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
