Issue with Pro user able to delete in PPU workspace

Observe an issue/weird behavior with PPU which has been reported: In PPU workspaces ,Admin access can be given to a Pro License holder and though he is not able to post/open reports in PPU; the user is :

1.Able to see all reports and datasets in workspace

2.Delete all these reports and datasets

3.Unassign workspace from PPU to Pro.

Any thoughts if this is expected behaviour?

Hi @AbhiSSRS ,

Based on my test, yes, a user with pro but no ppu is added into the workspace of ppu as admin and can complete the above operations. Then the pro user does not have permission to view the report.

With admin permission

Thanks much for verifying this! However we do think this is an issue and a pro user should not be able to do below activities in a PPU workspace. I have added this to Ideas for now requesting to address this!

2.Delete all these reports and datasets

3.Unassign workspace from PPU to Pro.

Hi @AbhiSSRS

I would confirm if that user actually has a trial PPU license?

Hi GilbertQ!

So we did multiple tests and confirmed the above behaviour. This is concerning as the Pro license user is not able to open/deploy the report in PPU workspace and gets proper message for access denies and upgrading to PPU . But at the same time he is able to delete and do other actione mentioned above in the PPU workspace. Looks like a bug to me unless its designed to behave in that manner!
