Issue with Power BI Service and Gateway
Dear all,
We got this issue since Arpil update.
Here is the model we build:
- The model is pulling in data from SQL server, and Excel in Sharepoint via the Web connector
- There are some queries with merge functions (SQL Server & Sharepoint Excel file)
- Privacy is set to Organizational for both
- The model refreshes fine in PBI Desktop - just not in the Service
Can anyone have the solution for this issue?

Hi mrtan ,
You can check the following:
Have you checked the gateway and connection settings in the service for the dataset ?
Server and database name should be same between Power BI Desktop and the data source within the On-premises data gateway.
Please check your version of gateway and install the latest one to check again.
