Issue with Power BI Online Connection to Azure PostgreSQL - Missing Assembly 'System.Runtime.Compile
- 1 year ago
Good afternoon everyone! Check your reports because the error is solved. At least in my case where I connect to a base that is located on a web server.
Greetings!!
We’ve encountered the same issue. It’s puzzling because our current schedule completes successfully, and manual refreshes of the online Power BI reports work fine.
However, this problem prevents us from changing any schedule times or days.
I completely agree with zeromero. This is the main reason we’re using Azure PostgreSQL—to avoid extra setup.
We sincerely hope this gets resolved soon.
Same behavior here. Datasets that were previously configured and working until yesterday are still functioning fine, but any changes or the addition of a new dataset trigger the error.

We are having the same issue while patching our datasets and reached out to the support team. After a long debug session and submitting all the diagnostic logs we finally heard back today that the Power BI product team is working on a fix.

Hi,
We are also experiencing this problem. I am receiving the exact same error message:
Could not load file or assembly 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.'
Is there any update or workaround to resolve this? - jknavarro1 year agoNew Member
