Issue with PDF Export not Reflecting Slicer Selections as i selected in power bi service
Description:
Hello [Support/Team],
I’m experiencing an issue while exporting a Power BI report to PDF. Here's the scenario:
- In the report, I have different slicers
- The default slicers are set to the current year and current month, but i have selected 2024 and other slicer selections.
- When I use the Current Values and Exclude Hidden report tabs option in the export settings, the report doesn’t reflect the slicer selections as I see on the screen.
Can you help me understand why the slicer selections aren't carried over in the export, and if there’s anything I can do to ensure the exported report matches the slicer-based filters?
Looking forward to your assistance!

Hello @naveenanda_vam
This is a known issue with Power BI’s PDF export functionality not properly respecting slicer selections.
Try using the “Print to PDF” approach.
Teu disable the “Persistent Filters” option in your report settings
if this is helpful please give kudos and accept the answer
