Issue when Importing Paginated Report

Hi, 

I'm trying to import a paginated powerBi report to a workspace. The report is well imported and I get the importId.

I need then to get the newly created reportId for another task. For that I use the REST API  GET import.

But when I get the import, there is no information about the report in the json response.

As a workaround, I am doing get reports in group and get the reportId using the report name (using a python code that I wrote).

Can you share the way that you have managed to import a paginated report to the workspace?

Hi @tbaccouche-ext ,

You need to set up permission before your invoke rest api, I don't think power bi service will allow anonymous authorization to get specific power bi contents.

Register an Azure AD app to embed Power BI content

Please verify that the data source is available and your credentials are correct.
