Hi crispybits77
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
-
Verify Gateway Configuration:
- Ensure that the gateway is properly configured and running on the server.
- Check that the data source is correctly added to the gateway and that the credentials are up-to-date.
-
Update Data Source Settings:
- In Power BI Service, go to the dataset settings.
- Under "Gateway connection," ensure that the correct gateway is selected.
- Under "Data source credentials," re-enter the credentials for the data source.
-
Rebind the Dataset:
- Sometimes, rebinding the dataset to the new data source can help. You can do this by going to the dataset settings and selecting the new data source.
-
Check File Paths:
- Ensure that the file paths in the Power BI Desktop file match the paths on the server. Sometimes, discrepancies in file paths can cause issues.
-
Refresh the Dataset:
- After making these changes, try refreshing the dataset in Power BI Service to see if it picks up the new data source.
-
Clear Browser Cache:
- Occasionally, browser cache can cause issues with updates. Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser to see if the changes reflect.
