Is there a way to create a tabelau like dashboard in power bi?

we want to have a landing page with key metrics( visuals like bar, line charts) which are pulled from various other reports, I know its capable with dashboard to pin all the visuals but the space for that is not accomodating as such or rather customizable.

So I want something where I have the ability to bring in key visuals from other reports also have the ability to navigate if necessary.

I explored APPS but the landing page seems not possible with that..

any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Regards,

DP

Hi @Pbiwrangler27 ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

Given that you’re working with four different data sources, leveraging a composite model could be a smart and scalable alternative. Composite models allow you to combine multiple data sources such as Power BI datasets, Azure Analysis Services, and other DirectQuery sources without duplicating the data or semantic models.

This approach not only minimizes redundancy but also helps keep your model lean and easier to manage, especially when dealing with complex reporting needs like embedded reports or custom landing pages. By reusing existing datasets through DirectQuery, you can optimize performance and reduce the burden of maintaining large, monolithic models.

Thanks everyone for responding, however I have 4 different data sources which I need to embed in the REPORT which may potentially increase the semantic model size. So that is why I was wondering if there are any other alternatives. So the whole idea is to have the Business Users have the look and feel of "Landing Page" at the same time catering the customization part of report as well.
Right now we are maintaining a dashboard and added that to an APP along with their corresponding reports, hwoever the tedious nature of the dashboard making us hard to maintain between reports and dashboard/Apps.

Hi  @Pbiwrangler27,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

As suggested by @Akash_Varuna  you can create reports that act as your landing page and, instead of pinning visuals, directly publish the entire report pages to retain the design and layout.

Also dashboards in Power BI Service allow pinning visuals, you can pin entire report pages instead of individual visuals to optimize spacing. Additionally, you can enhance navigation by using custom images as clickable buttons that link to full reports. However, keep in mind that dashboards have fixed tile sizing and less customization options compared to a dedicated Power BI report.
Here is the article to help you with pinning an entire report page:

@Pbiwrangler27  Hey,
You can load multiple required semantic model in Power bi desktop and then you can create required visual from multiple report in one report to fulfill your requirement.
example my all report is in same workspace
you can select - get data -> Power Bi semantic model -> select semantic model required

Following above way you can reutilize multiple dataset to recreate report as requirement

Thanks

Hi @Pbiwrangler27 I think you can create reports that act as your landing page and, instead of pinning visuals, directly publish the entire report pages to retain the design and layout. You can also check Power BI custom visuals to enhance interactivity or explore Power BI Embedded with custom landing pages for more advanced customization options.

What are Power BI Embedded with custom landing pages? could you share more info on this.
Thanks.
