Is it recommended to install on-premis data gateway on both test and prod server?

Hi all,

 

Is it recommended to set up two different gateways - both for test and for production?  (e.g. for testing new versions of the gateways).

The answer is it all depends. Not to mention test and production environment, even for the same production, you may need more that one gateway, if  the data source is complex and the refresh would last long. See this link.
