I can have image slicer in Power View but when the report is imported into Power BI I just get a list of image URLs & not the images.
Also if images are imported via database in Power View, camera icon appears instead of images..
Any solution??
Hi @Sharz,
you can do it like this:
( thanks to @PowerBIGuy and @GrahamKnowles )
Let me know if it works.

I do not believe that image slicers are a supported visualization just yet. Did you try tiles?
There has been a lot of that grey camera icon going around, but I have seen this issue with jpg files imported from a folder in Excel and Power View, not just Power BI
Let me clarify. I meant images as slicers in Power BI.
And yes the camera icon is with Power View. No idea on how to display images in Power View & Power BI.
@Sharz, currently the service can only support static images. Images in slicers, tables and carousel controls are not supported.
Does that mean Power BI doean't support binary data?
it depends on your definition of "support". You can definitely load binary data in your model. However, only Excel/Power Pivot can render that data as an image today. Desktop/service cannot. Most likely this will change for the better very soon.
