Hello,
I'm the admin of our service. I would like to disable the resharing option (Allow recipients to share this dashboard) for all of the elements in the workspace. I'd like to remove this option for all of the users. We use the AD groups to manage accesses.
The use case is that I'm in charge of access management but developers can grant access with the mentioned option and then the unauthorized person can reshare the option. I want to remove this risky factor from the picture.
Do you know if it's possible?
Thank you,
Mateusz
Not really solving this, but you can go to a dataset and disable external sharing on the dataset level. This would prevent people from sharing to external users. This might help a little bit.
Thanks for the suggestion but we already turned external sharing off in the tenant settings. There doesn't seem to be an option to turn off sharing (granting access) to individuals.
Neither does there seem to be an option to stop that for a dataset or report.
I have the same concerns. As things stand it doesn't seem possible for admins to control access to reports, since any user who currently has access can grant access to a user who does not.
I've seen similar threads but not with the question so clearly stated. Changing all reports to use RLS is not a practical solution. Is it possible to prevent this at report level?
We must be mistaken as surely this is a show stopper for Power BI at many organisations.
