Is Gateway required for third party cloud

Hi All,

         We have moved our On-Premises HANA DB to the third-party cloud. Now planning to develop the dashboards based on the Third-party Cloud DB for that GATEWAY is required or not.

    Hi Arunican88 ,

    No, services can generally connect to cloud data sources without a gateway.  

    However, you might need a data gateway if your data sources are behind a firewall, require a VPN, or are on virtual networks.
