Is Data Gateway necessary for an Oracle Cloud Database?
Thank you, lbendlin , for your response.
Hi raghav20,We appreciate your inquiry on the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
In addition to the response provided by lbendlin , please follow the steps mentioned below, which may help resolve the issue:
-
If the Oracle Cloud database is publicly accessible, a data gateway is not required. You can use DirectQuery or an ODBC connector to connect Power BI directly to the Oracle Cloud.
-
If the Oracle Cloud database is within a private network, a data gateway is required.
