I have several reports that pull data using the Snowflake connector. I do not use an ODBC connection or a Gateway to access the data, and everything is working perfectly fine in Power BI Desktop and when published to the Power Bi Service.
There is a lot of cleaning the data needs to go through, and we have a lot of reports that still need to be developed, so I would like to build a Dataflow to prepare the data.
When I enter the Server, Warehouse, and credentials into the Snowflake connector in the Dataflow, I get an error message that says "Invalid Credentials". I have checked and double-checked the information I am entering, and I am sure it is correct.

It appears that this is a bug in the Power BI Dataflow system when trying to access Snowflake.
I was able to solve it by creating the dataflow using a blank query connection, then pasting the query from the Advanced Editor in the functioning desktop file into the Blank Query, then entering the credentials.
Hi Anna!
I'm currently still facing the same issue in Dataflows.
For me however, the workaround using a blank query is not working either.
Is still the case for you?
Do you happen to have a link to the reported bug and it's status or some sort?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Pasting the code from the advanced editor worked for me, and no, I don’t have any links to the reported bug, just this post. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
