Integrating reports with SAS application for external users without AD

Hi, we are moving from Tableau to Power BI in a SAS solution. The SAS solution has Tableau login integrated to the application login for our external clients without using EntraID/AD. We are currently using OpenIdConnect (extension of OAuth) which routes the report request to an identity service for validating users and on authentication routes the users to the report server. We do not see anyway in Power BI to do this? Has any one else encountered this issue, is there any way out of this without having to pay $200K for EntraID? I think we will have to drop Power BI completely. Help, please.

Unfortunately that as far as I know, there are not any way to solve your issue instead of the Entra ID.

Microsoft Entra ID is a cloud-based identity and access management service that enables your employees access external resources and internal resources.

If the cost of EntraID is prohibitive, explore other identity providers or custom solutions. Consider whether the benefits of EntraID justify the expense.
