I'm wondering if it's possible to change the viewer permissions of a report within a Workspace? It seems that all members of any given Workspace are able to view (always) all reports/dashboards therin.
I'm trying to create personalized reports within a single Workspace that are only viewable to select members. For example: "Bob, Bill, and Linda are members of the same workspace. However, when Bob logs in he's able to see only reports that pertain to him as designated by the Admin."
Does this make sense?.... from what I can tell, I need to create seperate workspaces for each user and build the reports and data sets seperatly.

@Anonymous Workspaces are designed to be the collaborative work environment for report authors. "Shared with Me" is the section in Power BI that is personalized for each end user. You could bundle a series of reports together into a single dashboard for each user, or they have options to favorite, and add what they want to their own dashboard. My point is that if they don't need to modify reports, there are other better options to share content with end users to create their own personal view of a set or series of reports that can all live in the same workspace.
@Anonymous Do these people need to have access to modify the reports, or are they just consumers? If they are just consuming them, is there a reason you aren't just sharing the reports with them? There is no feature to support what you describe atm in the workspace.
So the answer is no - permissions can not be changed within a Workgroup.
I was hoping to avoid having to make multiple work groups.
Thanks,

If a report is shared with a user will they always have access to it, will they be able to view updates that are made?.. Or do I have to share the report every time I make changes?
@Anonymous After you share a report, any updates you make to the original shared report will automatically update the shared report. There will be no need to reshare everytime.
