Incremental refresh keeps sending repeating queries for the partitions

I am connected to a view in Databricks which has around 700million records. I used paramaters in pbi desktop to filter 0 rows and in the service I removed the paramater. I did the rangestart and rangened parameters for the incremental refresh. In the query history of my databricks cluster, i see that the queries are repeated for the same partitions. Its been 3 hours and the dataset is still trying to refresh in pbi service. I dont know why the queries are repeated but it seems that its looping.

Any idea?

Hi @biuser98

When doing the first refresh for incremental refreshing it will typically run a query for the top 1000 rows to make sure it looks good before running the entire table. It will have to process the entire date range specified in your incremental refresh policy to populate all the tables.

It should not loop through but go through the different dates?
