Incremental Refresh in Dataflow & Semantic Model

Hi,

I set up an incremental refresh earlier on a datflow that seemed to work perfectly as the refresh time dramatically decreased.

However, the sementic model/data set (connect to the dataflow) that the report is connected to is still taking 7/8 mins to refresh whereas the dataflow only took 10 seconds.

Does anyone know if I also need to apply the incremental refresh in Desktop to the semantic model too?

No. Either apply the incremental refresh to the dataflow and ingest the entire dataflow in the semantic model, or implement incremental refresh in the semantic model and get rid of the dataflow. There is no point in doing incremental refresh on both.
