In a MAC Machine - using power bi service
- 1 year ago
Hi Anonymous ,
This issue does not seem specific to Mac. Power BI Service behaves the same across platforms because it's browser-based. The problem typically arises from how Power BI handles schema changes in the source file, especially Excel.
1.Try to look for steps like Promote headers, changed type, or any column-specific transformations.Update or remove steps that reference old column structures.
2. If your Excel file changed from a sheet to a table or vice versa, Power BI may fail to locate the correct data.
3. If you're connected to a dataset in Power BI Service and not directly to the Excel file, you may not be able to transform the data. Try to re-import the Excel file from scratch in Power BI Desktop and publish again
