Import from OneDrive and SharePoint greyed out
- 1 year ago
AndyBurnsNHS it turned out to be an internal IT policy that was changed! Option is now not greyed out but can't access the sharepoint site....Assume another policy needs to be looked at. It's been a rather frustrating and long process!
I don't think that's the reason, we have used the import sharepoint method for the last 12 months, we have one location for the pbix files and that's the one I am using. I am the Power BI admin so I have all the right permissions etc. I have tried incognito/private browser. I think the issues are related, along with Power BI hanging on 'loading' when trying to add people to a connection.
Hi Amizy ,
Since you've already implemented all the recommended workarounds and have full Admin privileges, the most effective next step is to have Microsoft support review the backend.
You mentioned submitting a support ticket have you connected with them or received any updates so far?
Thank you.

Hi Anonymous I have been speaking to Microsoft they think possibly there's been a policy change in SharePoint 365 admin. I am waiting to speak to someone internally to see if it can be resolved. Once it has and I know the fix I will post 🙂
