Image tile on dashboard

Hello Power BI lovers,

I have pinned a tile which contains an image from a report onto a dashboard in power bi. When I clicks on that image in dashboard, it re-directs to the report page. How do I remove this hyperlink option from the dashboard tile? I mean, can we disable click on image?

I want to use that image for label purpose.

I have seen a dashboard where dashboard tile is not clickable.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @mangal999 ,

You can also try to add image tiles directly in the dashboard without setting custom link.

Hi @mangal999 ,

Are you sure that this is the image or just the normal behaviour?  When you have a visual and you have given the appropriate permissions on the dashboard, when somebody clicks on the visual, it will open the report.

If you actually put a hyperlink on the image, you can select teh visual in the report page and click on the Format column .

If you see above image, you can see there is no option called "Go to report". It means this is not clickable tile.

Hi @mangal999 ,

If you are in a dashboard and the user has permissions they can click on any visual (not just an image) and it will open the report page.  The image/visual itself does not need to have a link to the report as this is default functionality. You can limit this by creating an App and NOT selecting the ability to see the report or underlying data.
