I tried registering for free on Power BI using my company's domain, but it displayed "Microsoft Fabric free is unavailable in this market." Other accounts on the same domain also experienced the same issue.
However, I could register and use it for free normally by switching to a different company domain.
We do not use Azure AD.
I am the administrator of this domain.

hi v-pnaroju-msft
thank your followup.
I have submitted a support ticket, but I am still waiting for assistance.
thank you.
Hi YingJi,
Thankyou for the update.
As per the document, Fabric region availability - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn, the screenshot below shows the availability of Fabric workloads according to the region of your tenant. Your home region is associated with your tenant. If your home region doesn't reside in the following regions as highlighted in the screenshot, you won't be able to access all the Fabric functionalities.
If the issue still persists, please raise a support ticket using this link: Microsoft Fabric Support and Status | Microsoft Fabric, so the backend team can investigate.
We hope this information helps to resolve the issue. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact the Microsoft Fabric community.
Thank you.
Hi @YingJi,
Thankyou for your followup.
Could you please confirm the region of Taiwan from which you are registering, for example, Taiwan North or Taiwan Northwest.
Thank you.
Hi thank v-pnaroju-msft,for your response
Our company's domain name is registered in Taiwan.
However, when I try to register for Power BI using any email account associated with our company's domain, I receive a message stating "Microsoft Fabric Free is not available in this app store."
Therefore, I cannot select the Northern or Northwestern Taiwan region.
Thankyou, @Shravan133 , for your response.
Hi YingJi,
Thankyou for the update.
Based on my understanding, when signing up for Microsoft Fabric or Power BI, Microsoft automatically provisions a backend Entra ID (Azure AD) tenant and assigns it a home region based on the market associated with the domain. Fabric Free availability is controlled at the tenant and region level, and if the tenant is created in a region where Fabric Free is not currently enabled, the signup is blocked with the message “Microsoft Fabric Free is unavailable in this market.” This applies even if you do not use Microsoft 365, Azure, or any administrator portal.
There is no supported setting to override this behaviour or to change the tenant’s home region. The supported option is to join an existing tenant in a Fabric supported region, if applicable.
If you would like Microsoft to consider enabling Fabric Free in additional regions in the future, we recommend submitting feedback through the Fabric Ideas forum using the link: Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community

Thank you.
Hi thank v-pnaroju-msft,for your response
Does this mean that even if I cannot bypass the Microsoft Fabric Power BI registration process, my domain will no longer be able to use Power BI For Free?
This domain is registered in Taiwan.
when Power BI tells you “Microsoft Fabric free is unavailable in this market,” it basically means your tenant is located in a region where Microsoft hasn’t turned on the free Fabric tier yet, so accounts under that domain simply can’t activate Fabric Free, even though another domain you tried works fine because its tenant sits in a supported region instead; Microsoft explicitly says Fabric Free availability depends on regional support, and unsupported regions show that exact message, plus there are a couple of extra gotchas — for example, Microsoft blocks Fabric Free for accounts less than 90 days old, and sometimes you even need to manually assign “Fabric Free” licenses in the Microsoft 365 admin center before it starts working — but the simplest explanation in your case is that your company’s domain is tied to a tenant in a non‑supported region, so Fabric Free won’t activate there no matter what settings you change.
Thank you for your response.
We are not using Microsoft 365 Admin Center or Azure.
This error only occurred when registering Power BI; the domain name was registered in Taiwan.
Are there any other methods I can use to successfully register and use my domain?
Thank you for your reply.
However, we do not use Microsoft 365 admin panel or Azure.
Does this mean that no matter what settings I make, my domain will no longer be able to use Power BI?
