Hi @Centropaginaswe,

To filter 40,000 records and produce a table of 10,000 records, both Power Automate and Power BI can be used, but the choice depends on the specific requirements of your project.

Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) is a cloud-based service that allows you to create workflows to automate repetitive tasks and business processes. If you need to automate the filtering process and save the filtered data to a data source, Power Automate can be a good choice. For example, you can use Power Automate to create a workflow that retrieves the data from a data source, applies the filter criteria, and saves the filtered data to a SharePoint list or a SQL Server database.

On the other hand, Power BI is a business analytics service that allows you to create interactive reports and dashboards. If you need to analyze the filtered data and create a visual representation of the data, Power BI can be a good choice. For example, you can use Power BI to import the filtered data from a data source, create visualizations such as charts and tables, and share the reports and dashboards with your team.

In summary, if you need to automate the filtering process and save the filtered data to a data source, Power Automate can be a good choice. If you need to analyze the filtered data and create visualizations, Power BI can be a good choice. However, both tools can be used for both purposes, and the final choice depends on the specific requirements of your project and your familiarity with each tool.
