Good afternoon people! All good? I hope so. So, I have a problem that in theory would be simple to solve, but I'm not succeeding at all.
Well, a while ago I created an account on PowerBi/fabric for the company I work for, using the company's corporate email, after that, I also set this account as a domain administrator so I could use the tool's features, in addition , power bi also asked me to use the Authenticator application and I was using it normally. One detail is that this account is not the one I am contacting here. The problem is that they asked me to try to remove the login via Authenticator, so that everyone in the company could use the account without confirming the code, and I tried to do that.
First I went to Microsoft account security settings and disabled login by 2 steps, it didn't work. Then I tried to remove the Authenticator account from the phone, the login kept asking for the Authenticator code.
Now I can't even log in to the Authenticator app itself, because it generates a code and asks me to enter it in the app I'm using, but it doesn't log in. I've tried clicking "I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now", but it gives me two options that force me to use the app.
Furthermore, the main problem is that this account is a domain administrator, that is, any modifications I want to make to the Power Bi service I need to log into this and I'm not able to do so.
I have already tried logging in and out of Authenticator on my cell phone, I can only log in to Authenticator, if I put the account as if it were “Personal”, it is not personal, it is “Corporate or student”, but it is as if the code to log in did not arrive in the application.
I tried contacting fabric support through my account, but they stopped responding.
Basically I need support to undo the authenticator application and allow me to log in again without asking for the code, like the first time.
Guys, please, has anyone experienced this or knows how to solve it? I really need to log into this account, and if I can't, is there a way to put another account as a domain administrator? Because I have my corporate account, if it resolved, I could set my account as administrator, delete it and then create it again.

Hi,@YagoXavier I am glad to help you.
According to your description, you are unable to log in to Power BI/Fabric with your company account after disabling the Authenticator application, thus preventing access to the domain administrator account.
It is important to note that Power BI is constantly focusing on protecting the privacy of its users, and by enabling 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) you can better protect important data.
Here are some suggestions for you to consider.
Disabling 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) may vary depending on how it was initially set up. Since your attempts to disable 2FA through your Microsoft account security settings were unsuccessful (because the browser still requires Authenticator app authentication for login), this indicates that there may be an organizational policy that enforces 2FA for security reasons.
1.Please review the Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) conditional access policy
Because if your organization uses Azure AD, there may be an access policy that enforces 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication). You need to check this information to see if there is a policy that applies to your organization's users.
Here is the official documentation.

If your organization has enabled security defaults in Azure AD. administrators and other programs automatically require 2FA. you can check to see if security defaults are enabled and consider temporarily disabling them for troubleshooting purposes. However, you need to consider this carefully as there may be security risks associated with this action

If you have not resolved the issue after referring to the suggestions above, you may also want to consider setting up another account as a domain administrator (as you suggested in your query, setting up a new domain administrator), which requires an account with sufficient privileges to access the Admin portal.

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Hello @Anonymous , the problem is that I can't even log in to Azure settings.
But anyway, thank you very much for the answer. I contacted support and received a response, I hope that I will be able to resolve it with support.
