Hi,
I've downloaded the sample spreadsheet, and would like to view the actual data. However, when opened in Excel 2010, only the Power View is visible. Anyone know how to view the original data?
Thansk.
You need to install and start "Power Pivot for Excel".
Then you can click Manage to see the underlying data in PowerPivot model.
Regards,
can I just say it's ridiculous to have the sample data using a plugin that isn;t available in all versions of excel. For learning purposes this file is utterly useless to me, clearly my company don't spend enough wtih you every year...
Do you have power pivot installed? You need the plugin. Also the workbook must be Excel 2010 power pivot to view it in 2010 - there is no backward conversion from 2013
