How to view connection string in PowerBI dashboard?

I have published a PowerBI report that was build using the PowerBI desktop app and sources data from an excel sheet that is local to my computer. If I go to the dataset in PowerBI web portal, there is no obvious way to tell what the underlying data source is (or I can't seem to find the option). Can someone share any inputs on this? Shoudln't the connection string be visible after publishing the data set to the onlince service? Or is it hidden because of some security feature?

    Gear icon in upper right, Settings. Click on Datasets tab. Click on dataset of interest. Expand "Data source credentials". On the data source of interest, click "Edit credentials". You will see your source there.
