How to use param filter for the published App URL?
Hi. The url filtering is for the URL of the report. The second link you are showing is the App redirection to add or invite people to the report, but it's not the report link.
Add the filter to the app report link. It looks like this:
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/4c263b46-cafc-4853-b0da-f7d7b2270a2f/reports/6f33bffb-cada-436c-be5a-0119b8aeef79/ReportSectionb05868bf440676cea00c?experience=power-bi&filter...I hope that helps

No. The URL shouldn't change. If you are replacing the report when publishing to the workspace. Then it's just updating changes. The id of the report remains the same. That means de URL for the report is the same. If you are updating the app (no unpublish and publish again) then the app id stays the same. The URL is a combination of app id and report id, that means the URL is the same.
I hope that make sense

Hi ibarrau ,
thank you for your reply and time for my issue.
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/4c263b46-cafc-4853-b0da-f7d7b2270a2f/reports/6f33bffb-cada-436c-be5a-0119b8aeef79/ReportSectionb05868bf440676cea00c?experience=power-bi&filter...yes, you are corect. After a month if i publish the updated version the same project file .pbix. It stays in the worspace. By clicking the updateApp button in top i can select the newly created .pbix file and Deploy it.
Now the power bi url changes, ami correct?
But the App remains same always.
In this case i have to chnage the new power bi access url and also old params need to be aded in many applications. this is my problem.
Thank you.
