Hi,
I am trying to implement graphs in Business Central and I was thinking of using Power BI. However I would like to have this information updated every minute. Is this possible or even a good idea? I would like to export just a little bit of information out of BC to PBI and then back to BC, ideally with a turn-around time of 2 minutes.
Right now I believe I have something that updates every 24hrs which is not satisfactory.
Any input is much appreciated!
Cheers

Hello @Rasmus_B ,
With import mode, you get to schedule a refresh every 30 min for 8 times only per day for a pro license and 48 times for Premuim license.
But you can get the data as a direct query were you can have live data without refreshing, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-use-directquery
If I answered your question, please mark my post as solution, Appreciate your Kudos 👍

With Premium you can refresh programmatically more often than 48x per hour, which is merely a UI limitation. That said refreshing an Import cache every minute is not going to work.
Aside from DirectQuery as you suggested, @Rasmus_B should also have a look at streaming and push datasets:

Hi thanks to you both. Much appreciated. An analysis of both solutions and testing is underway 🙂
