How to select multiple columns in a chart on OSX

I am unable to select multiple columns in a bar chart on a report when using OSX. I've tried in in Safari and Firefox and I am unable to find the right key or keyboard combination that allows me to select more than one column.

 

I've confirmed that this functionality is available in Forefox on Windows for the same chart.
