Hi @durgaraop21 ,
Based on your description, first, confirm that the transfer of ownership of the dataset has completed successfully. It may be necessary to contact your Power BI administrator to ensure that you are now listed as the owner of the dataset. If you are unable to see the semantic model associated with the Usage Metrics report, it is possible that the report is using a dataset that you are not authorized to access directly.
According to the documentation I've looked up, the first time you launch the Usage Metrics report a user leaves or is no longer part of the organization, you'll need to restart the refresh. When you launch the Usage Metrics report for the first time, Power BI automatically creates the Usage Metrics report semantic model. The Usage Metrics report depends on this semantic model. Power BI then refreshes this semantic model daily. Although you cannot change the refresh schedule, you can update the credentials that Power BI uses to refresh usage metrics data.
To do this, go to the workspace where the usage metrics are located, click the setting button and go to powe bi settings, choose usage metrics sematic model and refresh the credential.
