Hi community
My requirements is the following : i'd like to use pushed dataset (with history) in order to populate easily the underlying database hosted in azure and have simple but live kpi. I can have a lot of different datasources that will use power bi api to push data on a a frequent basis ( hundreds of time per day)
Now in order to do more advanced reports , based on medium to complex measures i'd like to find a way to populate/replicate a standard dataset/dataflow (let s say every week) with the latest data from the pushed dataset with full history)
Any idea/help would be greatly appreciated as i didn't find something relevant on that topic .
Regards
Renaud

Hi, @renaudstaessens
This may not be realistic if you are referring to copying data from a push dataset (with history) to a standard dataset directly on PowerBI Service.
PowerBI service does not currently support the persistence of this type of data.

Hi, @renaudstaessens
Please check if below threads could help.
How to store a large amount of data through push dataset PowerBI?
Add historical data into your Power BI push dataset using Power Automate

first of all thanks for the suggestion but it's not reallly link to my requirements :
How to store a large amount of data through push dataset PowerBI? : the limitations of size of 5M rows is ok for me and more over i want a simple mecanism to push data to my dataset so that power bi pushed dataset is the perfect solution .
Add historical data into your Power BI push dataset using Power Automate : this is interesting but it s not my requirement .
At the end what i really need is a full history of the dataset on which i can create also complex reports ( in that case not live report) . i know tehrea re big limitations on measure of pushed dataset so i can't build that kind of report based on a pushed dataset --> reason why i d like to copy/paste replicate pushed dataset to a standard one.
Hope these explanations are clearer. IF you have any other suggestion ? or it's just impossible at that time?
Regards
Renaud
