How to remove/turn off/demolish "Usage Metrics Report" and "Dashboard Usage Metrics Report"

Hi

When our customers log in to our solution, they sometimes see these autogenerated report "Usage Metrics report" and "Dashboard Usage Metrics Report".

I can not see them inside Service. So I can not remove them from there.

I have tried to turn these things off, but without success.

The guides I have found seem a bit outdated as things are not named the same as I can find.

Is there anyone who can help?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @M-M-P ,

Usage metrics reports are a feature that the global administrator or Power BI administrator can turn on or off. Administrators have granular control over which users have access to usage metrics; they are On by default for all users in the organization.

When disabling usage metrics for their entire organization, admins can use the delete all existing usage metrics content option to delete all existing reports and dashboard tiles that were built using the usage metrics reports. This option removes all access to usage metrics data for all users in the organization who may already be using it. Deleting existing usage metrics content is irreversible.

See Control usage metrics in the Admin portal article for details on these settings.

hi @M-M-P - It looks like the Admin for your workspace has generated and saved a copy of the Usage reports; even though the copies are deleted from the service they are somehow maintained behind the scenes - please refer to the below link for details mentioned.
