How to register Power BI Gateway with a Service Principal?

Hi,

New to the topic. We have installed a On Premsis Gateway and for testing registerd it with an work account (with an email of course).

My question is, is it possible to register Gateway againt a Service Principal or it can only be registered with an account which has an email?

I read some other posts which describes that it is possible to add SPN as admin but from Power BI Portal.

It is not possible to register Gateway using SPN, but you can use a service account or a user ID
