How to refresh a dataset that consumes from 2 Dataflows

I am unable to refresh a dataset… when I go to the ‘manage permissions’ I see:

There are 8 users:

I wonder, if  the ‘owner’ is the only one allowed to refresh the dataset…

(also I do not understand why it says "app(build)"... this is the  permissions section for a dataset, not for the report)

Furthermore, when I open the ‘lineage view’, I can see that the dataset ‘consumes' from 2 Dataflows, when I hover over the mouse it says “you don’t have permissions to access this workspace”.

My questions are:

• Is the ‘owner’ the only one allowed to refresh the dataset?
• In order to refresh a dataset that consumes from 2 ‘Dataflows’, is it also required to have access to those Dataflows?

The Dataset gets its flow from the 2 dataflows, therefore before refreshing the dataset you need to refresh the 2 dataflows. And yes to refresh manually the dataflows you need to have access permission to them or use the refresh mode of the Gateway entreprise.

According to my test, users who only have App(build) permission could not refresh the datasets:

But if they are Members/Admins of the classic workspace, they could take over the settings to refresh datasets:

hey, 

those refer to the permits on the app workspace, isnt the consuption panel for user actually, you shoulld be able to automate the refresh depending in the way you are connected via gateway refresh program configuration or on the dataflow configuration,

Hi, my attached screenshot does not refer to ‘permits on the app workspace’. I took it from “manage permissions” at the dataset level.

I don’t want to automate the refresh, I am just trying to do a single refresh. (Specifically I want to click ‘Refresh now’ on a specific dataset).

The links you provided are for business users, I am on the admin side...

I am looking for information on permissions required to refresh a dataset.
