How to mass delete old datasets

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to clean up our PBI environment, is there a way for me to mass delete old data sets that has not been used?

Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous

The answer is no, Maybe you open a ticket to Microsoft and ask if they can do it for you through a script.

Hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know there's no such feature that can let you delete datasets in bulk.

However, you may try to use Rest Api to do that.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/deletedataset

Best Regards,

Jay
