How to make color rules work on dashboard tiles?

Hi All,

We are using hidden report pages to track thresholds on various things for our VPs.  The idea being that each VP will have his/her own dashboard containing the tiles we are tracking thresholds for.  Presently we're using cards, but we don't have to use cards if something else will do what we want.

Problem: We can set rules in the report to color code the cards based upon data values, but those colors do not carry over to the dashboards.  I thought about trying a table with one or two rows (because I think the color coding will carry over), but I would like to know how others have accomplished this.

Thank you,

Kirt

@Kirt1965 - Table visuals will respect conditional color coding. I'm guessing that this hasn't come up much as formulas for background colors is pretty recent.

Thank you.  Are tables the only option for this?  The reason I ask is because I believe the column header always has to show and there will be a sort arrow.  Just seems kind of clunky.

I appreciate your help.

@Kirt1965 - Not sure of all the options, I haven't tested all of the visuals. I know tables do preserve color formatting and matrices. I'm guessing what doesn't is all of those "fx" color formatting options
