How to import data from URL in Power Bi Pro

I can import data from a URL in Power Bi Desktop by clicking in "source data" and then "web", but I have a Pro license now and I'm struggling to find the import from URL option. Any tips?

  • Hi 33Celia ,

Unfortunately, you can only get data in Power BI service, such as apps, Excel files, pbix files and databases.

So far, there is no way to import data from URL in Power BI service, though you have a Pro license.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Yadong Fang
