How to enable/send dataset refresh success and failure Notification via email

Hi Experts,

Hope all are doing great!

I am looking for a right solution to enable/send dataset success and failure notifications to end users via email. Currently we developed reports using AWS Athena as source and post that we published the reports in PBI Service and then enabled the dataset refresh through rest API call as we don't at what time our backend loads will complete. This API trigger the refresh daily post data loads completed.

API just trigger the refresh and will send an alert like refresh started and then we are expecting to set up the either dataset success or failure notification as well to the users. We tried with power BI subscription but it's not working as expected.

So looking for some suggestions and solutions that you already implemented and successded. Thank you so much for your kind support in advance!
