How to enable scheduled refresh for PBI which connects to Azure DevOps?

Hi,

I want to enable scheduled refresh on PBI which connects to Azure DevOps data, currently I can't enable it on PBI service, is it just a permission issue to enable it? or do I install data gateway to enable scheduled refresh?

thanks in advance

Hi @Anonymous,

If you are using cloud Azure DevOps, then Gateway isn’t necessary. To enable Scheduled refresh for the dataset, you need edit your credentials firstly. Could you please try to update credentials in Data source credentials and let me know whether you will get any error or configure Scheduled refresh successfully? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous,

We get informed that here is a known issue(ICM 307200975) that Power BI customers using Azure DevOps may experience issues connecting from desktop. Users who already have connection established and report published to service might experience credentials errors when refreshing the dataset in the service. Product group is working on the fix. I’ll follow up this issue and sync here once there is any update. Thanks for your understanding!

If there is any post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly. If I misunderstand your needs or you still have problems on it, please let me know how your tables look like, the relationships you create for them and how you create these two count measures. Thanks a lot!
