Hi everyone, I noticed that when I publish my report to the Power BI service I see the filter pane to the right and I can expand it and use it to apply filters. Again this is outside of Power BI ...

You will need to go to the Sharepoint page and make sure you have enabled "Show Filter Pane"

BoyanGilbertQ YES Thank you Gilbert. It was the SharePoint web part configuraton - simple toggle switch to show the filter pane. Thank you a million! That did it for me. Also thank you to all those who replied with suggestions for me. Apprecaite this community very much,
