You could go with option 2, or you could use my solution I created below, but please be aware that while it hides the pages it is not 100% secure. This is because you can unhide the pages.

The solution looks nice. The way I understand it is, a report user would click to a page each time they want to move between pages. Is there a way to start with pages a, b and c visible as a default view and then unhide pages d & e with a button?
