Hi all i have a Dashboard in powerbi service with one table visual from Report A.
My question is how to change and persist the filters on this table, I can only edit the filters in this visual in Focus mode, but when I go back of focus Mode, filters reset to the originals.
Question is how to change filters in a Dashboard and save them.
Regards

Hi @dpombal,
Unfortunately, you cannot edit or save filters on dashboard tiles in Power BI Service - this is a known limitation. Dashboard tiles are static snapshots of visuals from reports with their original filters applied.
But what you can do maybe as a workaround is:
- edit the filters in the source report
- create a new report page with this filter an pin this visual to the dashboard
Check out the MS docs for the limitation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-dashboard-pin-tile-from-report
Best regards!

Hello @dpombal,
You cannot save filters on a dashboard tile. Tiles are static snapshots of report visuals, so filters applied in Focus mode are temporary. To persist filters, apply and save them in the source report, and the dashboard tile will update automatically.
Refs:
A dashboard tile is just a snapshot + live query definition of a visual from a report. Only the report owns: Filters, Slicers, Bookmarks, Saved states. Dashboards are meant for monitoring, not interaction. Correct ways to achieve what you want:
Open Report A
Apply the desired filters/slicers
Save the report
Re-pin the visual to the dashboard (or update the existing tile)
This makes the filters persistent because they’re saved at the report level.
If users need to interact and save views:
Use reports + bookmarks
Or personal bookmarks (users can save their own filter states)
