    Hi ddunne1

Power BI doesn't currently offer a direct setting to change the color or thickness of data label leader lines in pie or donut charts. They inherit styling from the visual's default theme and can't be customized individually (yet).

However, here are a few practical workarounds:

    1. Switch to "Data Label" Inside the Slice: In the Format pane, go to Data Labels > Position → select Inside or Inside End. This removes the need for leader lines altogether and improves visibility.

    2. Use a Custom Theme (JSON): You can create a custom theme to darken all visual outlines or apply better contrast in general. While it doesn’t let you style label lines specifically, it can help improve overall legibility.

Unfortunately, as of now, the leader line color/thickness isn’t separately configurable in Power BI. You can upvote this feature on the Power BI Ideas Forum to encourage Microsoft to add it in future updates.
